As informações biográficas que possuo sobre esta Grandiosa one man band são muito escassas, sua fundação deu-se no ano de 2003, Azgorh é seu pseudônimo e esse australiano é um dos poucos que consegue conciliar diversas vertentes do Black Metal numa só obra esplendorosa! O som ambiente raw é associado a temas líricos depressivos, niilistas e misantrópicos, porém que não abandonam os demais temas temas tão tradicionais tratando também de ocultismo e satanismo. Aquele que compreende o que representa de fato o som de Drowning The Light percebera até um tom melódico em sua música, melodia essa que acrescenta em complexidade este trabalho magnífico.
